First Estonian Tulip Festival will take place in the Tallinn Botanical Garden from April 20 till the end of May 2012.

More than 100 000 tulips will be planted in the Tallinn Botanical Garden, also other spring flowers like Muscari, Narcissus, hyacinths, crocuses etc. Many of them are suitable to stay in the ground and grow bigger and flower more every year.

In September there was the first planting with school children and with Estonian singer Koit Toome. Most of the activities will take place in spring when flowers are in bloom.

Sponsors have an opportunity to support not only this festival but also the nature lessons for the school children who will visit the centre.

The event is organized by the Tallinn Botanical Garden and Flower Gallery.
